Born with Sickle Cell in 1960, Loury travelled to Switzerland at the age of 18 where she worked as a private school teacher, mastering the art of the French Language

Upon moving back to the UK in her early 20’s, Loury trained and went on to own and manage four successful salons in the West Midlands. In addition to excelling in the beauty industry Loury was also a successful Cambridge diet councillor, where she developed the NLP skills needed to empower people to achieve their body goals.

In her later years, Loury went on to become a Fashion Director at Sun & Lo designing and sourcing footwear and handbags. During this time, she also moved into Property Management. She joined the organisation in March 2018 and her passion is to help other sickle cell survivors.
