Wellbeing Workshops for Primary School Children

Workshops that help children understand and manage their emotions, build inner confidence, and develop a positive, resilient mindset. Each session is practical, fun and grounded in evidence-based emotional wellbeing strategies.
Workshop Topics
1) Managing Anxiety and Worries
Helping children cope with stress and worry in healthy ways
Children learn what anxiety is, how it affects the body and mind, and how to calm their nervous system. They explore breathing techniques, grounding tools and positive thinking strategies , creating a personalised "calm Plan" they can use at school and home.
2) Managing Difficult Emotions and Anger
Understanding big feelings and learning self-regulation
This session helps children identify their emotional triggers, recognise warning signs, and use safe coping strategies like the "traffic light" system, calming visuals, and movement breaks. The focus in on emotional literacy and building self-control.
3) Confidence Building
Encouraging self-esteem and inner strength
Children are supported to explore their personal strengths, challenge negative self-talk and build self- belief through stories, group games and creative tasks, The session fosters peer support and helps children feel more capable and connected.
4) Positive Mindset
Teaching a growth mindset for long life learning and wellbeing
Using interactive games and reflective tasks, children learn that effort and attitude matter more than talent. They explore the power of "yet", reframing mistakes as opportunities, and developing optimism and perseverance.
