During October half-term 2021 and February half-term 2022, SCTSP worked with Beatsabar Music Project to provide workshops for the young people in Wolverhampton affected by sickle cell disease.
We intially ran a music taster workshop, where everyone was able to have a go with the instuments and equipment in the studio. They also learnt more about the music creation process.
After experiencing Beatsabar's music studio, they were given the opportunity to return and create a song of their own. Everyone got involved with the creation of the song's, whether this was lyric writing, creating the beat or having their voices featured on the track.
