SCTSP Annual Report 2025-2026
The Sickle Cell & Thalassaemia Support Project (SCTSP) Annual Report is now available to read.
The report provides an overview of SCTSP's work over the past year, including our support for individuals and families, community projects, partnerships and work to raise awareness of sickle cell and thalassaemia.
Some key figures from the year include:
717 unusual blood results received and processed through the NHS Screening Programme
372 adults and children living with sickle cell and thalassaemia receiving support
24 participants contributing to our research into the educational challenges faced by children and young people living with sickle cell.
28 Family Hubs workshops delivered.
This report also covers our wellbeing activities, community engagement, BAME maternity support, digital healthcare guidance and awareness projects.
