Ernest Thomas II Narrowboat Trip

On Monday 27th July 2026, the Sickle Cell & Thalassaemia Support Project took a small group aboard the Ernest Thomas II narrowboat, operated by South Staffordshire Narrowboat Company.

The group spent a few hours travelling along the canal, enjoying the sunshine, taking in the scenery and spending time together. Along the way, they spotted plenty of wildlife including a terrapin.

This trip provided an opportunity to get outdoors, enjoy the fresh air and spend time with others in a relaxed setting.
